The study of mindfulness

I realized that the best thing I could do to study mindfulness was to recommit to my practice of mindfulness. Recommitting over and over again is the challenge- and the gift of meditation. I hear about all the resistance around mindfulness and meditation because we feel like a failure if we don’t immediately become Sage the first week we try it. But it’s always available to us, if we’re willing to be imperfect at it. As is life. Always available one we let go of resistance and perfectionism. That is, being in the present moment. Warts and all.
