Freshman Feels

There is nothing like walking across a college campus in the early fall. The sun shiny bright, the air cooler and drier, the trees making a subtle change from green to yellow. As I transition into this new phase, closing out the old that got me to where I am today, I say goodbye. I turn my back, one last glance in gratitude for all the lessons, all the growth, to step into this new abundant beginning. Just like a college freshman, beginning their education in higher learning, except I am the teacher now. Stepping into the unknown, endless potential, navigating my new role along side my students, I vaguely remember when I was in their shoes the first go round. So many versions of me have come and gone since I started my higher education path, all of them valued, wise teachers for the next steps.
